Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#23–399–13 with Intratek Computer, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $700,000, to provide technical
assistance with regard to ergonomic hardware and software support services, for the period from January 1, 2014
through December 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by budgeted Enterprise Fund I. (rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On January 8, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23–399–12 with Intratek Computer, Inc., for the
period from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013, for the provision of ergonomic hardware and software
support services and technical assistance with the Department’s LANDesk® software.
Due to lengthy negotiations, the Division was not able to process the renewal in a timely manner. Upon request, the
Contractor continued to provide services in good faith.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
The Division is requesting start date effective as of January 1, 2014.
Approval of Contract #23–399–13 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through December 31,
2014.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County will not receive ergonomic hardware and software services along with
technical assistance for the Department’s LANDesk® software.
