HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02252014 - C.73RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #24-721 with Indu Talwar., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $236,600, to provide professional psychiatric services at the West County Mental Health Clinic for the period from March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services that are not otherwise available in its Hospital and Health Centers. Under Contact #24-721, Contractor will professional psychiatric services for mentally ill adults at the West County Mental Health Clinic for the period from March 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015.
