HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02112014 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #23-325-18 with Wilson Consulting Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $900,000, to provide consultation services with regard to County’s Patient Accounting System, including custom reporting for the Keane system, technical support for the”HL7” interface, and assistance with regard to implementing the Department’s appointment system for the period from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% County Funds. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) reporting for the Keane system, technical support for the”HL7” interface, and assistance with regard to implementing the Department’s appointment system. Approval of Contract #23-325-18 will allow Contractor to continue providing services through December 31, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, the Department will not have access to Contractor’s expertise with regard to County’s Keane computer system, while the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers continues transitioning to the Epic computer system.
