HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02112014 - C.14RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief-Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, or designee, to execute Cooperative Agreement No. 991609 with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for the loan of Federal Excess Personal Property (FEPP) and ADOPT Resolution No. 2014/55 declaring a local need for the loan of FEPP to the District and authorizing the Fire Chief to sign the Cooperative Agreement, as recommended by the Fire Chief. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. BACKGROUND: The renewal of the Cooperative Agreement between the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection will allow the continued use of the loaned federal property as stated in Attachment A at no cost to the Fire District. Loaned equipment is as described in Attachment A: Trailer, 50-ton, 3-axle, Lowboy, Serial # 48153E01414, Property #AG0001562047.
