HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02042014 - C.48RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee to execute amendments to the Software License Agreement and Software Support Agreement with Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., to increase the payment limit by $397,657 to a new payment limit of $4,961,317, to provide additional software licenses for the electronic capture, storage, and retrieval of case files, and additional software support, for the term from February 1, 2014 to January 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: EHSD entered into a software license agreement with Northwoods Consulting to license software for the electronic capture, storage, and organization of case files. EHSD also entered into a software support agreement with Northwoods. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, patients requiring professional oncology services will not have access to Contractor’s services which may result in a reduction of the overall levels of service to the community.
