Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #22-939-19 with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, a non-profit
corporation, effective August 1, 2013, to amend Contract #22-939-17 (as amended by Contract Amendment
Agreement, #22-939-18), to increase the payment limit by $55,081, from $81,667, to a new payment limit of
$136,748, and extend the term from February 28, 2014 through April 30, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
In March 2013, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract
#22-932-17 (as amended by Contract #22-932-18), with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for the
provision of coordination of food services for County Residents diagnosed with HIV disease, for the period from
March 1, 2013 through February 28, 2014.

additional services through April 30, 2014.

If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not be compensated for providing additional food services.
