Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#23-553 with Aspira Technologies, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $229,200, to provide
consultation and technical assistance to the Department’s Information Systems Unit with regard to information
technology analytics, for the period from December 1, 2013 through November 30, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
Under Contract #23-553, Contractor will provide consultation and technical assistance to the Department’s
Information Systems Unit, including overseeing day-to-day leadership of the Information Technology Unit’s
Analytics function and reporting responsibilities, through November 30, 2014.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, the County will not have management oversight of the Information Technology
Analytics Unit.
