APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Information Officer, or designee, to execute a contract with Nerd Crossing
LLC, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for support services related to the implementation of the ADP eTime
employee timekeeping software application, as needed by the Department of Information Technology, for the period
January 20, 2014 through January 19, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approximately $200,000, as budgeted under Org# 1334.
BACKGROUND:
The County is in the process of implementing its new ADP eTime employee timekeeping software application (the
“Application”). During the term of this contract, the Contractor will work with County employees, under the
direction of the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Information Technology (the “CIO”), to provide
telephonic, remote desktop support, and onsite support regarding the implementation and troubleshooting of the
Application.
In accordance with Administrative Bulletin No 611.0, County Departments are required to get Board approval for
single item purchases over $100,000. The County Administrator’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends
approval.
