HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01142014 - C.15RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with the Town of Danville to increase by twelve the number of personnel assigned to the Town and revise payment rates for law enforcement services provided to the Town. FISCAL IMPACT: No County costs. This amendment will not have a financial impact on the County. BACKGROUND: The Town of Danville and the Sheriff's Office request an amendment to the contract for law enforcement services to revise a paragraph related to options of sworn personnel staffing. Currently the Town of Danville has two (2) full time Office of the Sheriff Lieutenants. One serving as Police Chief and the other as Lieutenant for Administration. The Town of Danville and the Office of the Sheriff would like the option, upon mutual agreement, to have either two (2) Lieutenant positions or one (1) Captain position and one (1) Lieutenant position.
