APPOINT Ben Hornstein to as the Concord Local Committee representative on the Advisory Council on Aging, as
recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Hornstein's term will end September 30, 2016. Mr. Hornstein was recommended to this position by the Concord
City Council at their October 8, 2013 meeting. His address is , Concord, CA.
The Advisory Council on Aging provides a means for county-wide planning, cooperation and coordination for
individuals and groups interested in improving and developing services and opportunities for the older residents of
this county. The Council provides leadership and advocacy on behalf of older persons and serves as a channel of
communication and information on aging.
