Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#24-709 with Beatrice St. Claire, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $174,720, to provide
professional outpatient psychiatric services at the Concord Adult Mental Health Clinic for the period from January 1,
2014 through December 31, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment, offset by third-party billing. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide
specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County’s clients will not have access to Contractor’s professional outpatient
psychiatric services, which may result in a reduction in overall services to the community.
