HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12102013 - C.69RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT attached Resolution No. 2013/448 that determines the tax exchange for the proposed Rodeo Marina annexation to the Rodeo Sanitary District (LAFC 13-03). FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact to the General Fund. This is a zero property tax transfer. BACKGROUND: The Rodeo Marina Annexation to the Rodeo Sanitary District covers approximately 27.9 acres located along the northwestern edge of Rodeo where it meets San Pablo Bay, including two narrow strips of land south of the railroad tracks and north of San Pablo Avenue. The County and the Rodeo Sanitary District have agreed to a zero property tax exchange for the Rodeo Marina annexation. As an enterprise district, Rodeo Sanitary District is able to charge an annual sewer service fee for all residential and commercial customers. The District bases its sewer service charges, and its sewer connection fees, on the estimated reasonable cost of providing the services for which the charges and fees are respectively imposed, and charges them to the party receiving such service.
