HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12032013 - C.89RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-852-1 with Bay Area Spine Institute, A Medical Corporation, a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $170,000, to provide Orthopedic Surgery services for Contra Costa Health Plan members for the period from September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Member Premiums (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: In October, 2011, the County Administrator approved and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #27-852 with Bay Area Spine Institute, A Medical Corporation for the provision of Orthopedic Surgery services, for the period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2013. Approval of Contract #27-852-1 will allow Contractor to continue providing Orthopedic Surgery services through August 31, 2015.
