HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12032013 - C.80RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Public Works Director, a blanket purchase order with San Francisco Envelope in the amount of $150,000 for envelope printing, for the period of November 1, 2013 through October 31, 2015, Countywide. FISCAL IMPACT: The envelope printing is recovered through charges to user departments. BACKGROUND: The purchase order allows Print and Mail Services to order envelopes for mailings and packets, as well as place orders on behalf of the County departments. The Purchasing Division completed Bidsync bid no. 1310-041 and is awarding blanket purchase orders to three vendors who had the lowest bids. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, costs for envelope printing may increase. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
