ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/446 recognizing the Delta Protection Commission on their 20th Anniversary, as
recommended by Supervisor Piepho.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Delta Protection Commission (DPC) was created by the enactment of the Delta Protection Act of 1982 to protect,
maintain, and where possible, enhance and restore the overall quality of the Delta environment, including, but not
limited to, agriculture, wildlife habitat, and recreational activities. The Board of Supervisors is pleased to be honoring
the DPC on its 20th anniversary.
