HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11122013 - C.52RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25–046–14 with Shelter, Inc. of Contra Costa County, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $201,543, to provide support services to County residents in the Supportive Housing Program, for the period from September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 75% McKinney-Vento Homeless fund. The County must provide a 25% cash match for supportive services. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing support services to County residents that are homeless and have a diagnosis of mental illness or a dual-diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. Under Contract #25–046–14, Contractor will provide support services to County resdients that are homeless with a disability and are receiving services in the Supportive Housing Program, through August 31, 2014.
