Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#23-533-4 with Vonlay, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $1,080,000, to provide
professional consulting, technical support, training, and project management for Department’s information systems
at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from October 1,
2013 through September 30, 2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On November 1, 2012, County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services manager executed, Contract
#23-533 (as amended by #23-533-1 through #23-533-3) with Vonlay, LLC for the provision of professional
consulting,

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
technical support, training, and project management to the Department’s Information Systems at CCRMC, for the
period from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013.
Approval of Contract #23-533-4 will allow Contractor to continue providing consulting services to the Departments
Information System Unit through September 30, 2014.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County will not have access to Contractor’s expert technical assistance with regard to
support and optimization of the Electronic Health Record Project.
