HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11052013 - C.49RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-807-2 with East Bay Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Associates, A Medical Corporation, a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $180,000, to provide orthopedic surgery for the period from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Member Premiums. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available. Under Contract #27-807-2, the Contractor will provide Orthopedic Surgery services to Contra Costa Health Plan members through September 30, 2015.
