ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21382 to add three (3) full-time Social Services Staff Development
Specialist-Project (X4S4) (represented) positions at salary plan and grade KZ5 1642 ($5,281 - $6,419) in the
Employment and Human Services Department/Contra Costa Covered California Call Center.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval of this action, additional positions will increase total annual personnel expense by $364,098; $201,268
for fiscal year 2013-14. These positions are 100% funded by the State with no County costs.
The annual pension cost is $130,456.
BACKGROUND:
The Department requests to add three (3) full-time Social Services Staff Development Specialist-Project (X4S4) to
provide training for the staff at the Contra Costa County Covered California Call Center. These additional trainer
positions will be necessary to adhere to the hiring/training schedule timelines Contra Costa County has agreed to with
Covered California.
