Correct the Board Order approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 25, 2013 (C. 78) with the Child Abuse
Prevention Council of Contra Costa, to reflect the intent of the parties, to change the contract term from July 1, 2013
through June 30, 2024 to July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 for the provision of the Nurturing Parenting Program
and Baby Bag Project services.

BACKGROUND:
On June 25, 2013 (C. 78) the Board of Supervisors approved the contract with the Child Abuse Prevention Council of
Contra Costa (CAPC) to provide Nurturing Parenting Program and Baby Bag Project services. The CAPC will
establish and coordinate community efforts to prevent child abuse and the impact on children and families in Contra
Costa County. CAPC is an invaluable asset to the dissemination of information in efforts to address issues of child
abuse and neglect.
The purpose of this board order is to correct the contract term , to reflect the intent of the parties, from July 1, 2013
through June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
