Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#23–529-1 with Relyon Consulting, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $292,000 to provide consultation
and technical assistance with regard to support of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) for the Information
Technology Unit of the Health Service Department, for the period from October 1, 2013 through September 30,
2014.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise I funds.
BACKGROUND:
On September 11, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-529 with Relyon Consulting, Inc. for the
provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Information Technology Unit of the Health Services
Department with regard to support of the EHR project, for the period from October 1, 2012 through September 30,
2013.
Approval of Contract #23-529-1 will allow Contractor to continue to provide services through September 30, 2014.
