HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10152013 - C.28RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE vacant Consumer Seat 1 and Consumer Seat 2 on the Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancies as recommended by the County Administrator. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness (CCICH) was established on March 11, 2008, combining the efforts of the Contra Costa County Homeless Continuum of Care Board and the Homeless Inter-Jurisdictional Inter-Departmental Work Group. CCICH is charged with providing a forum for communication and coordination about the overall implementation of the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness and providing advice and input on the operations of homeless services. CCICH meets on a regular basis to discuss issues surrounding homelessness throughout the County and is made up of representatives from city and county government, health care, law enforcement, service providers and consumers. The two appointees have notified the Council verbally that they no longer wish to serve.
