ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/389 accepting completion of the warranty period for the Subdivision Agreement and
release of cash deposit for faithful performance for subdivision SD 03-08747, for a project developed by DeNova
Homes, Inc., as recommended by the Public Works Director, Martinez area. (District V)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to County funds. The funds to be released are developer fees that have been held on deposit.
BACKGROUND:
The improvements have met the guarantee performance standards for the warranty period following completion and
acceptance of the improvements.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The developer will not receive a refund of the cash deposit, the Subdivision Agreement and performance/maintenance
surety bond will not be exonerated, and the billing account will not be liquidated and closed.

In the matter of applying for 2011 California Homeland Security Grant funds
WHEREAS the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, seeks to obtain California Homeland Security grant funds in the amount of
$1,000,000 from the California Emergency Management Agency to assist with the purchase of mobile radio equipment for the
Cummings Peak and Peters Ranch public safety communications sites;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following County official is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of
Contra Costa County, a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, any actions necessary for the purpose
of obtaining federal financial assistance provided by the federal Department of Homeland Security and subgranted through the
State of California:
