The Council may also provide input and reports to the District Supervisor, Board of Supervisors, County staff or any County hearing body on issues of concern to the community. The Council may represent the Alamo community before the Board of Supervisors, County Planning Commission and the Zoning Administrator. The Council may also represent the Alamo community before the Local Agency Formation Commission on proposed boundary changes effecting the community. The Council may advocate on parks and recreation issues to the Town of Danville and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Supervisor Andersen advertised the vacancy, collected applications, met with the applicants and felt Susan Rock would make a good addition to the MAC. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The vacant seat will remain vacant; the Alamo MAC could face quorum issues. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
