APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to accept a grant in the
amount of $15,000 from the City of Pittsburg for Small Business Development (SBD) Program funding to provide
consultation, training, and information.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$15,000: 100% City of Pittsburg
BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa Small Business Development Center of Contra Costa County (CCCSBDC) requests Board
Approval to enter into a Sub grantee/Sponsor Agreement with The City of Pittsburg- Community Development Block
Grant Consortium (CDBG).
The expertise of the Contra Costa Small Business Development Center (CCCSBDC) provides much needed
professional training and guidance in such matters as marketing, hiring, and financial stability, and has agreed to
provide these services to a minimum of 10 Pittsburg licensed low to moderate income (LMI) business owners.
