HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09172013 - C.20RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/358 to approve and authorize the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with the California Department of Aging to increase the payment limit to County by $51,969 to a new payment limit of $911,560 to include One-Time-Only funding for Older Americans Act, Title III and Title VII programs for the period July 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: Per California Department of Aging, Agreement A3-1314-07, Amendment 1, County to receive an amount not to exceed $911,560 to include One-Time-Only funding of $51,969. 100% Federal. No County match. BACKGROUND: This contract amendment reallocates unexpended federal funds from Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-2013 to FY 2013-2014 and adjusts initial Area Plan allocations for Older American Act, Title III and Title VII programs. The contract amendment increases funds provided to County and will be used to enhance or maintain the current program service levels.
