FISCAL IMPACT: There is no direct cost to the County. Any additional cost incurred by the Elections Division will be recovered from the Moraga School District. BACKGROUND: Records indicate that the Moraga School District has filed a resolution with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors requesting consolidation. Granting the School District's request will allow the County Elections Division to consolidate the School District's parcel tax election with the County's UDEL Election, which may reduce taxpayer costs. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Not approving the request will require the Moraga School District to conduct its own election at a likely higher cost. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: None.
