HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09102013 - C.85RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #72-026-3 with ISIS Healthcare Services, Inc., a corporation, effective June 29, 2013, to amend Contract #72-026-1, to increase the payment limit by $15,600, from $100,000 to a new payment limit of $115,600, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by 50% State California Children’s Services and 50% County funds. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Therapists. At the time of negotiations, the payment limit was based on target levels of utilization. However, the utilization during the term of the agreement was higher than originally anticipated. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #72-026-3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services through June 30, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, patients requiring occupational and physical therapy services at Contra Costa Regional Medical and Contra Costa Health Centers will not have access to Contractor’s services which may result in a reduction in the overall level of services to the community. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable. CLERK'S ADDENDUM Rollie Katz, representing Public Employees' Union Local One, commented on employee salaries.
