HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09102013 - C.55RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to accept grant funding in the amount of $7,500 from the City of Brentwood to provide consulting, training and business information to owners and potential owners of businesses in the City of Brentwood. FISCAL IMPACT: $7,500: 100% Funding from the City of Brentwood. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Small Business Development Center of Contra Costa County (CCCSBDC) requests Board Approval to enter into a Sub grantee/Sponsor Agreement with the City of Brentwood. The expertise of CCCSBDC resources provides much needed professional advice to Brentwood business. The Contra Costa Small Business Development Center will participate in a total of five three hour Ad-Hoc events, workshops, or panels. The CCCSBDC will deliver eleven two hour workshops and thirty five one hour advising sessions for the City of Brentwood.
