HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08132013 - C.76RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Employment & Human Services Director, to amend and extend a Blanket Purchase Order with Spike's Produce (#43597), to increase the payment limit by $70,000 to new limit not to exceed $170,000 to purchase fresh produce, and to extend the term August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013 to new term end of December 31, 2013 . FISCAL IMPACT: Budgeted: 40% Federal funds (93.600) Administration for Children and Families 60% State funds BACKGROUND: The Department utilizes this company to furnish fresh produce to provide daily food service to the 19 childcare centers operated by the Department.
