HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08132013 - C.58RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with Agfa Healthcare Corporation in the amount not to exceed $1,210,000 for the Circles of Care Service Maintenance Agreement, necessary to support the cardiology and radiology imaging systems at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, for the period from April 1, 2013 through March 29, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Funding is included in the Enterprise Fund I Budget. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) currently has the Agfa Impax radiology and cardiology imaging systems. To maintain a high quality of care for our patients, the systems must be continuously available to the caregivers. Sustaining this availability requires a maintenance and support agreement with the vendor. Without this contract, CCRMC will no longer receive critical software updates or vendor support in the event of a system failure.
