Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, a
non-financial Agreement #26-729 between Contra Costa County and the National Public Health and Hospital
Institute, a nonprofit corporation, to perform financial and clinical data sharing at Contra Costa Regional Medical
Center and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a non-financial Agreement. No County match required.
BACKGROUND:
Contra Costa County Health Services and the National Public Health and Hospital Institute have agreed to share data
to improve Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Center’s clinical, operational and patient
safety performance.
Under this Agreement #26-729, the parties will perform financial and clinical data sharing through July 31, 2013.
