Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-552-3 with Bailey T. Lee, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $435,000, to provide
professional radiology services to patients at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers
(CCRMC), for the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is 100% Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On June 15, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-552-2 with Bailey T. Lee, M.D, for the period
from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013, to provide radiology services for patients at CCRMC including
consultation, on-call coverage services, supervision and interpretation of CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, invasive

Approval of Contract #26-552-3 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide services through June 30, 2016.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, patients requiring radiology services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and
Contra Costa Health Centers will not have access to Contractor’s services which may result in a reduction in the
overall level of services to the community.
