HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08062013 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21344 to cancel Community Health Worker I - Project position #13509 and add six (6) Community Health Worker I positions (VKWC) (represented) at salary level QT 0933 ($2617.30 - 2885.57) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $320,177, including pension costs of $61,462, and will be fully funded by monies from the Affordable Care Act as well as the Delivery Reform Incentive Program. BACKGROUND: These positions will be assigned to the Financial Counseling unit and will be responsibile for providing phone support and application assistance in the Outpatient Call Center. The addition of these positions will allow for reduced wait times and better customer service for those patients contacting the call center. Duties of the positions will include providing phone support, answering questions regarding the various health care programs, and assisting patients with enrollment and application materials.
