APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or his designee, to consent on behalf of the County, to a
Sublease between the current tenant, Hofmann Holdings, LP and Concord Jet Service, Inc.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no negative impact on the General Fund. The Airport Enterprise Fund will continue to receive lease and
other revenues provided for in the Lease. The County General Fund will continue to receive property, sales and
possessory interest tax revenues from the Lease.
BACKGROUND:
Under a ground lease dated May 25, 1982 (Lease), the County leased the subject property for the purpose of
providing a Fixed Base Operation at Buchanan Field Airport. This lease was assigned to different parties over the
years; and, on December 4, 2012, it was assigned to Hofmann Holdings, LP.
Hofmann Holdings, LP desires to sublease all the premises to Concord Jet Services, Inc. for the operation of a full
service Fixed Base Operations and to manage the property, including renting to other tenants

as allowed under the Lease. A sublease requires the prior written consent of the County. This action authorizes
consent to the sublease. This action does not amend or alter the terms of the existing lease.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County will not consent to the sublease and Concord Jet Services, Inc. will not be able to operate a Fixed
Base Operation and manage the premises.
