HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07162013 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-489-4 with Tango2, Inc., a corporation, effective February 1, 2013, to amend Contract #23-489 (as amended by Amendment #23-489-1 through #23-489-3), to increase the payment limit by $600,000, from $3,640,000, to a new payment limit of $4,240,000, and extend the term from May 31, 2013 through May 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records Incentive Program of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-489-4 will allow the Contractor to provide additional hours of professional consultation service through May 31, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not provide additional professional consultation services to support County’s healthcare information technology systems.
