BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
Department, Concord Health Center is currently undergoing an expansion to provide additional needed
ambulatory care to our Contra Costa County Health Plan members and Contra Costa County residents.
Approximately 432 weekly clinic hours or 1080 weekly ambulatory care visits are anticipated (72 Family

Concord Heath Center will not have adequate staff to provide primary medical care, mental health, substance
abuse treatment and oral health care services.
