HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07092013 - C.76RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Sheriff-Coroner, or designee, to execute a contract with Robert Half International, Inc., including modified indemnification language, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for temporary technology services related to the relocation of the Sheriff's Criminalistics Laboratory for the period November 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: $200,000.00; 100% County General Fund; Budgeted and previously approved the the Board. BACKGROUND: The Office of the Sheriff requested a contract with Robert Half International Inc., for temporary technology services. Due to the recent move of the Sheriff-Coroner’s Crime Lab and recent vacancies, our Technology Services Unit is in need of this temporary help with special project to keep up with the current work load. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The Sheriff’s Crime Las has recently moved and the technology department has had recent vacancies which has put an extra burden on the technology staff. Negative action will cause work falling significantly behind.
