HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07092013 - C.70RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #27-791-3 with Verisk Health, Inc., a corporation, effective April 15, 2013, to amend Contract #27-791-2, to increase the payment limit by $10,000, from $195,000 to a new payment limit of $205,000, with no change in the original term of November 1, 2012 through October 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: The Health Plan is required by contractual obligations and State requirements to provide annual Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) data analysis and reports. On January 15, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-791-2 with Verisk Health, Inc. to provide consultation and technical assistance with regard to data analysis service for HEDIS projects and annual reports for the period from November 1, 2012 through October 31, 2015. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #27-791-3 will allow the Contractor to provide additional consulting services with regard to ccLink implementation, through October 31, 2015. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not be paid for additional data processing services that are required as a result of ccLink implementation.
