HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07092013 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-784-6 (State #03-75796, A09) with the State of California, Department of Health Care Services, effective December 30, 2013, to amend Standard Agreement #29-784 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #29-784-1 through #29-784-5), with no change in the original payment limit of $1,594,000, to extend the term from December 31, 2013 through December 31, 2014, to allow the County to continue providing Local Initiative Program services. FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of this amendment will reflect no change in the original amount payable to County of $1,594,000 for the Local Initiative Program services that are not approved for Federal funding. No County match required. BACKGROUND: On August 15, 2006, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard Agreement Amendment #29-784 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #29-784-1 through #29-784-5) with the California DHCS for the period from August 1, 2003 through December 31, 2013.
