HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06252013 - C.128RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment,with modified indemnification language, effective June 30, 2013, with Oakland Private Industry Council decreasing the contract amount by $51,921 for a total contract payment limit not to exceed $633,079 and extending the term of the contract from June 30, 2013 to August 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: $633,079: 100% Federal Workforce Investment Act Funds BACKGROUND: Due to an allocation adjustment in funding this Board Order authorizes the Director of the Employment and Human Services Department to decrease the contract payment limit to OPIC by $51,921 from $685,000 to a new payment limit of $633,079 while at the same time extending the contract term of July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, to a new contract term date of August 31, 2013. (#18-020-26) CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Additional Dislocated Workers and Eligible Adults will not be served.
