Dear Dan:
During the past three months I have repeatedly requested
that a permanent base for emergency ambulance service in
Pleasant Hill be secured by Cadillac Ambulance. I am aware
that you, and Pleasant Hill City Manager Jim Alkire have
been diligently working with Cadillac Ambulance to
accomplish this directive. I believe that Cadillac
Ambulance has made a sincere effort to comply with the
requirement that they establish a permanent base station so
they can assure a response time to Pleasant Hill residents
of ten minutes or less . However , this has not been
accomplished and I am extremely concerned about the quality
of emergency services for my constituents. Therefore I am
urging immediate action to rectify the situation.
I respectfully request that you take whatever steps
necessary to secure alternative service insuring a minimum
response time if Cadillac Ambulance has not located a
permanent base to serve Pleasant Hill by December 31 , 1985 .
I cannot accept this continuing situation and will not
tolerate anything but the highest quality of emergency
services .

requesting support from the City of Pleasant Hill for my
position.
I would appreciate a prompt response to my request. Thank
you for your continuing close attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
