HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06252013 - C.51RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21310 to cancel Health Services Systems Analyst II positions numbers, 15283, 15284, 15285, 15286, 15287, 15288, 15289, 15290, 15291, and 15292 and add three (3) Health Services Clinical Systems Analyst I positions (LBVB) at salary level ZB5 2042 ($7847.55-8651.93) and seven (7) Health Services Clinical Systems Analyst II positions (LBTE) at salary level ZB5 2142 ($8664.33 - 9552.43) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $200,496, including pension costs of $48,419, and will be fully funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment funds as well as Delivery System Reform Incentive Program funds. BACKGROUND: These new positions will be assigned to the Health Services Information Technology Division and are needed to support cclink, the County's electronic medical records software. BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) detailed procedures on software installation and configuration; and perfomring primary testing of upgrades before release. The Systems Analyst positions are being cancelled and replaced with the Clinical Systems Analyst positions in order for the division to have the appropriately classified positions to perform the necessary duties. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, the Health Services Information Technology Division will not have the appropriately classified positions to provide support to cclink, the County electronic medical records software.
