HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06252013 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21311 to add one Account Clerk - Experienced level position (JDVC) at salary level 3RH 0755 ($2866.00 - $3552.98) and cancel Clerk - Experienced Level position #14965 in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: This action is a correction to P300 #21251 which resulted in a cost savings of $19,682. The cost of this action is $5,585, including pension costs of $1348. However, an overall cost savings is still realized totaling $14,097. BACKGROUND: This action is a correction to P- 300 #21251 that was approved on March 12, 2013. That action erroneously requested that an Account Clerk position be cancelled and an experienced level clerk position be added. The department would like to add the Account Clerk position back and cancel the newly created clerical position. The Account Clerk position will be assigned to the Public Health Finance Division and is needed to support various fiscal functions. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this action is not approved, the Public Health Finance Division will not have the appropriately classified positions to perform the necessary work.
