HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06252013 - C.31RECOMMENDATION(S): ACCEPT resignation of Robert Larson, DECLARE a vacancy in the Local Committee Pleasant Hill Seat on the Advisory Council on Aging, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Mr. Larson was reappointed to the seat on April 23, 2013 with a term that expires on September 30, 2014. The Advisory Council on Aging provides a means for county-wide planning, cooperation and coordination for individuals and groups interested in improving and developing services and opportunities for the older residents of this county. The Council provides leadership and advocacy on behalf of older persons and serves as a channel of communication and information on aging.
