Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #74–143–20 with California Psychiatric Transitions Incorporated, a corporation, effective
April 1, 2013, to amend Contract #74-143-19, to increase the payment limit by $100,000 from $725,500 to a new
payment limit of $825,500, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Amendment is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On May 15, 2012, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-143-19 with California Psychiatric Transitions
Incorporated for the period from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, for the provision of residential care and mental
health services to severely emotionally disturbed adults.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74-143-20 will allow the Contractor to provide additional residential
care and mental health services to severely emotionally disturbed Clients through June 30, 2013.
