HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06042013 - C.60RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #24–979–24 with Addiction Research and Treatment, Inc., dba Bay Area Addiction Research and Treatment, a corporation, effective March 1, 2013, to amend Novation Contract #24-979-23, to increase the payment limit by $98,660, from $2,987,311 to a new payment limit of $3,085,971, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, and to increase the automatic extension payment limit by $49,330, from $1,493,656 to a new payment limit of $1,542,986, with no change in the term of the automatic extension, through December 31, 2013. FISCAL IMPACT: This Amendment is funded 50% by Federal Drug Medi-Cal, and 50% by State Drug Medi-Cal. No County match required. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #24-979-24 will allow the Contractor to provide additional methadone treatment services to Clients through June 30, 2013. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not provide additional services to County patients. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not Applicable
