HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05212013 - C.36RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Conservation and Development Department, a purchase order amendment with ImagingTek to extend the term from February 28 through December 31, 2013 and increase the payment limit by $100,000 to a new payment limit of $299,950 to provide continuing conversion of department records to an electronic format. FISCAL IMPACT: No impact to the County General Fund. 100% Land Developement Fees, the cost is included within the Department's operating budget. BACKGROUND: The Department of Conservation and Development, through the Purchasing Agent, executed a purchase order in August 2011 with ImagingTek to convert application files and permits into an electronic format. Approval of this request will allow the department to continue to digitize department records improving efficiency and reducing storage costs. ImagingTek is now on the California Multiple Award Schedules, offering competitive governmental pricing on its services.
