HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05212013 - C.12RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Resolution No. 2013/219 recognizing Beverly Wallace for her volunteer work on the Advisory Council on Aging, as recommended by Employment and Human Services Director. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: Ms. Beverly Wallace has been a member of our Advisory Council on Aging and has taken a role of leadership as the organization’s Membership Chair reporting to the Advisory Council on Aging Executive Committee on the administrative oversight of the 40-member organization. Ms. Wallace has served as President of Contra Costa Senior Legal Services that provides free legal services to older residents of Contra Costa County and provided years of volunteer services to various organizations serving the elderly residents of the County. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Mr. Wallace will not be recognized for her volunteer service.
