HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05142013 - FPD C.01RECOMMENDATION(S): ACCEPT on behalf of the Contra Costa Fire Protection District (District), as their governing Board of Directors, the Grant Deed (Deed) dated April 16, 2013 from Contra Costa County (County) in connection with the conveyance of various fire stations, as listed on Exhibit “A” attached hereto, pursuant to section 13861(b) of the California Health and Safety code. DIRECT the Real Estate Division of the Public Works Department to have the above referenced Deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. BACKGROUND: The District has requested that the ownership of various fire stations be changed from the County to the District. On April 16, 2013, the County Board approved the conveyance of various fire stations from the County to the District. The District needs to accept the Deed in order for it to be recorded in the County Recorder’s Office.
